Climb up the little mountain in the park and you will find a flat grass area on the very top that is surrounded by a low stone wall. Great place to watch the sunset. I've found evidence of camp fires up there, but have no idea of the legality of such a thing.

Great evening sunset views at the top of the steps. Be ready to climb!

The views of downtown and to the north are outstanding! Also, the homes around this area are beautiful.
