Lots of information here, lots of brochures and this is where you book to go on the Waimarie, the lovely steam paddle boat which frequents the river regularly.

A great place to start! Located on the riverbank in the same building as MudDucks Cafe and The Sarjeant Gallery Annex, the i-Site information centre has brochures, maps, souvenirs and a knowledgable staff to help you plan your visit to the Whanganui region and beyond.

Great source of information on what to do in Wanganui. Attractively situated on the river bank and right next to Mud Duck cafe.
