There are a number of walks through Belmont Regional Park. My favourite is the Puke Ariki/ Haywards Korokoro Traverse - a full day's walk. Great views of the Hutt Valley, Porirua and Wellington.

Plenty of walking trails of various lengths and difficulty. Stunning views too.

Belmont Regional Park has some great walks and is a short drive away. There are awesome views over the city and harbour on a clear day.
