Purgatory Resort offers year round adventures. For the summer: Alpine slide, lift rides, mountain biking and hiking. Please see their website for more info. My husband Chris is a ski patroller at Purg.

One of the best ski areas in Colorado. Only 30 min drive from our rental.

The ski resort is only 2 miles north of the home and they have two ski to restaurants. One on the back side of the mountain and one on the front side. The front side restaurant has the best bar to see the most amazing rocky mountain views from. The back side ski up restaurant has great food. The also added to Purgatory the Waffle Cabin. Rated top 10 Waffle places in the country. I use to ski in Vermont and that was the only one I had seen. It is a most try after a long day of skiing.

Purgatory is our local ski resort and is one of the most family friendly resorts in the country. Kids 10 and under ski free all year. Check in with us about conditions before you come. We're happy to give you some beta on what's skiing well and how overall conditions are. We're there often!
