It's located on the east site of Tian An Men Square. Free admission for general exhibition. Small fee for special addition. You can learn a lot about Chinese culture and history there.

Worth it if you're spending a lot of time in Beijing (but not if you're only on a short trip). My favorite exhibit is the gallery of all of the diplomatic gifts China has received throughout the years. They also have the standard classic calligraphy, art, sculpture, etc...

One of the biggest and largest museum in China where you can evidence the history and culture of China in very short period of time.

全中国的重量级文物都在这里，当然要来了。逛一整天都看不完看不够。每年临展特展也特别多，是个常看常新的地方。
