The Mojave Desert Land Trust protects the Mojave and Colorado Desert ecosystems and their natural, cultural, and scenic resource values. Dark night skies, clean air and water, broad views and vistas, and an abundance of native plants and animals.

Nonprofit organization that acquires land for conservation. A few times a year, they have a great salvage sale with items from properties they cleaned around the area. Check their website for other events, such as native plant sales, community cleanups, and educational outings.
