One of the most spectacular waterfalls I have experienced in Tasmania is Russell Falls. Its only an hour or more from Hobart regions and easy family friendly walks that can be undertaken at any time of the year. After a rainfall in particular the reserve here becomes sparkling with sounds sights and smells and feels like an enchanted forest. Trust me, its beautiful and worth the entry Parks cost.
