Hye is a small town that will be a blip on your radar if you don't know it's coming. Home to a few great winery's and distillery's. You can have whiskey, cider, and wine within a few miles radius of one another in Hye, Texas.

Hye, Texas is an unincorporated community in Blanco County. In 1872, Hiram G (Hye) Brown settled in the Rock Creek Area of Texas Hill Country with his family. A post office was established in the area in 1886 and Brown was appointed postmaster. This post office helped build other business in the area, a cotton gin and grist mill. The Hye post office and general store was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1966. texashillcountry.com/hye-texas

The epicenter of the flourishing wine culture in the Texas Hill Country, Hye may be small, but it still hosts the finest wineries in the area. Just two miles from KRR.
