This is the best deli in the Neighborhood. Very friendly service, delicious food and inexpensive. 9 minutes walk from home and worth every visit
And last but not least: Get a breakfast sandwich at ANY deli or coffee cart in the city. New Yorkers are very passionate about their foil-wrapped breakfast sandwiches: I’m an “egg-n-cheese-onaroll”, Matt is a “BEC”. To order: talk to the guy working the grill. Select egg (usually scrambled), cheese (American style processed cheese), and/or bacon. Toppings include salt/pepper, hot sauce or ketchup (gross). You can select from different breads, but the soft squishy brioche style bun is classic. It’s best if your order is shouted in a loud run-on sentence as if you’ve ordered this sandwich every day of your life. Wait for your sandwich near the cashier. Remember exactly what you ordered because this isn’t Starbucks and no one is writing your name on anything. A classic egg and cheese will cost less than $4. Eat your sandwich anywhere but on public transportation.

Expensive but can find some things that you need that you may have missed or forgot in the big market. We go there for emergency as it’s very close by!
