La chiesa dei Girolamini che per motivi storici, artistici e culturali, tra i più importanti luoghi di culto della città. Il complesso arriva fino a fronteggiare il duomo di Napoli e custodisce la più antica biblioteca della città (seconda in Italia) ed una importante quadreria che espone dipinti di giovani artisti del Seicento napoletano.

ITINERARIO VIA TRIBUNALI DECUMANO MAGGIORE [17] - COMPLESSO DEI GEROLAMINI Walking along the Decumano, not far from Via Duomo, there’s the church of Gerolamini, now deconsecrated. The building is currently a museum, which hosts a fine collection of paintings and a rich library. The worldwide famous street-artist Banksy has realized a modern “Madonna” in largo Gerolamini, which is worth a visit.
