One of five public squares laid out by William Penn in his original plan for Philadelphia. There is something for everyone within its eight-acre grounds such as mini-golf and a carousel for the kids! There are often special exhibits during the spring and summer like the Chinese Latern Festival!

Great place to hang outdoors... Burgers and shakes are delicious.... families can spent quality time playing mini golf and there’s a playground and merry go round for the smaller kids...

Franklin Square is one of the five original open-space parks planned by William Penn when he laid out the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1682. It is located in the Center City area, between North 6th and 7th Streets, and between Race Street and the Vine Street Expressway.
