Unbelievable in such a small village to have such a vast building so full of history and atmosphere - this is a must to visit.

This is a stunning 14th century priory in the heart of Cartmel village with its shops, cafes and restaurants including michelin starred l'Enclume.

It is an amazing 12th century Priory that is very well preserved & surrounded by lovely buildings. Also shops, cafes, good pubs, walks & the famous Cartmel Steeplechase races!
