A quick 10 minute hike up the hill is well worth the incredible view of the valley you receive. Walk all the way to the north end of 1a Avenida and the entrance to the stairs awaits. It is safe, but I recommend going midday or before sunset if going alone.

There are two ways to get to the top. You can either walk up the steps, or go around back and walk / drive up the road. If you are up for it, I would suggest taking the stairs. Once at the top you are offered a gorgeous view of the city and surrounding areas.

Nice walk, great view! I recommend to visit Cerro de la cruz only during daylight!
