Nine towns were flooded to give Boston water -- the Quabbin Reservoir. Walking, history, biking, lots of choices. But no swimming or boating!

This is a very nice place to picnic and see bald eagles. This place has a wonderful history where 3 or 4 towns were flooded to make this reservoir which supplies Boston with all of it's drinking water

Gate 31 boat rentals for Quabbin are very close by my cabin.
