The state park is very popular for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers. The park has naturalists who assist with answering questions. The park has a bobcat that can often be seen at the bird feeding station, a hawk identification specialist and trams to assist people in viewing the many aspects of the park

Excellent bird watching at feeders and over the length of 6 miles of road and trails that can be walked or biked. Trolley trips every hour 9:30 am to 4:30 pm daily.
