Nice beach area (Lake Absegami) with life guards. Also the Bass River State Forest has hiking trails.

The national state park has a swimming beach and you can also rent canoes and kayaks. Really nice hiking trails. Perfect way to experience the pine barrens.

Beautiful State Forrest less than 20 min from your waterfront location, Great place to hike, fish , swim, bike and picnic.
