Boat ride along coast of Río San Juan is a must. Very inexpensive and amazing views and experience.

This is a fantastic day out. You take a boat ride through the mangroves and you will see eagles and cranes and other local birds. Local fisherman fishing. Then the laguna opens up and you find yourself in the ocean. Your boat will take you into caves and for a swim at a private beach. It's one of my favourite trips.

a beautiful lagoon that leads out to the ocean. well worth the boat ride that navigates the manglares and spill into a beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach. surrounded by euro little restaurants and bar.

Hire one of the boats..and tour through the tangled mangrove tree channels and marvel at the interesting rock formations and surrounding caves
