It is a great place to enjoy the beach, the rock pools and the West Atlantic Ocean/ Bristol Channel.

Perfect family beach a gentle 30 minute stroll from Woodview. Sand, rockpools, a stream, caves, safe bathing. A kid's delight. It is also the perfect place to kayak or paddleboard to explore the hidden coves that can only be reached from the sea.

You will not be disappointed with the beach at Combe Martin. it has so much to offer. Great rock pooling, crabbing and caves to explore. Great for watersports. You can hire a kayak from one of two hire shops near the beach. The beach is within walking distance from the cottage

Great beach. At its best when the tide is out in my opinion as the shoreline is nicer sand, views slightly more stunning than when the tide's in. Also it reveals the causeway and hundreds of rockpools - some deep enough to jump in and others just for exploring. Tide in or out though it's a very family friendly beach that's nice and sheltered for swimming (no big waves like woolacombe etc) with sand, some stones in areas, lots of rocks for climbing or admiring. Kayaking and SUP/paddleboarding are extremely popular from here and there are 2 really good hire shops just back from the beach. Possibly better for beginners when tide is in. 20 to 30 minutes walk from us or a few minutes drive/bus.
