Beacon Hill Park is located along the south shore of Victoria and the Juan de Fuca Strait. It has been a park belonging to the city of Victoria since 1882. A trust was then established for the 62-acre (24.8-hectare) site.

Beacon Hill Park is a beautiful park to walk around in with ponds, a rose garden, peacocks, ducks, and turtles. There is also a seasonal petting zoo from May to August.

A beautiful park, with a petting zoo, two kids areas, overlooking Dallas Drive and the Juan de Fuca strait, mile zero for the trans Canada highway, a rose garden, lots of ducks and music at the Cameron band stand
