Quite simply the best coffee in Edinburgh. A favorite among students and professionals alike, this funky, unpretentious and slightly irreverent cafe can't be beat. Say high to the owner, Dougal, or any of the friendly staff: Ellen, Niko, Holly, Alex ....

Right opposite The University of Edinburgh's Old College this coffee house serves great hot chocolate (as well as everything else!) and has great wooden decor.
