This is THE natural waterslide. No matter how you make your way down the natural slide, you will have a smooth slide. With lifegaurds at the top and bottom of the slide, and a concert path with handrails to the top, you can gaurentee a safe and thrilling experience.
All the fun filled joys of the mountains outdoors and the best people to be around.
Yes! That's right. It is a big slippery rock! This is great fun during the warmer months. If you don't want your bathing suit to get pilled by the texture of the rock wear cutoffs :)
While your in Pisgah National Forest especially in the warmer months this is a great way to take a dip in Davidson River.

“Breath taking, easily accessible waterfall. To visit the waterfall it only takes a few flights of steps down. Due to this convenience, it is one of the more crowded sites. Good for those not comfortable with long hikes. GREAT spot for photos.”

“This is a favorite, moderately-difficult day hike with a killer payoff. This 5-ish mile out-and-back takes you to the top of looking-glass rock. It's probably a bit much for younger kids. Going during the week or earlier in the morning will help avoid the crowds and get your doggo some time off-leash.”

“Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 422.8 Devil’s Courthouse, on the Blue Ridge Parkway, presides over some of the most spectacular views in the Blue Ridge Mountains. From the top of Devil’s Courthouse at 5,720 feet, visitors can see into South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee in a 360-degree panorama. Devil’s Courthouse may have received its name because of the sinister aspect of the rock formation, or because, as legend holds, the devil held court in the cave that lies beneath the rock. In Cherokee lore, this cave is the private dancing chamber and dwelling place of the slant-eyed giant, Judaculla. Devil’s Courthouse provides habitat for a variety of rare, high-altitude plants. Some of these alpine species may be remnants from the last glacial period. Hawks, ravens, vultures, eagles, and peregrine falcons ride the hot air currents that rise from the valley.”

“Skinny Dip Falls – One of our all-time favorite hikes and swimming spots, this ½ mile hike leads to a gorgeous set of falls with crystal-clear, ice-cold pools for swimming. Bring a mask! Extremely busy on summer weekends. Take the Blue Ridge Parkway south to mile marker 417. Park in the Looking Glass Rock overlook on the left. Cross the road and follow the path which begins just next to the mile marker. Go a couple hundred yards and look for wooden stairs leading up and to the left. Take these steps and continue on the trail for approx. ½ mile down to the creek. Prepare to be amazed. ”
