Rainbow Beach is patrolled during school holidays October through April. Swim, surf or enjoy a walk up to middle rock and back.

Rainbow Beach & Middle Rock are great surfing and swimming beaches. You can escape the crowds in summer and find a shady spot to laze for a few hours. Rainbow Beach has large dog friendly areas and 4wd areas (permit required).
