Moderate hike to beautiful waterfalls through Kentucky forest. *Do NOT go in water at the top of the falls!! Bottom is slippery and serious injuries have occurred when the warning signs were ignored*

Bad Branch is simply spectacular. The street is a National Wild River, and the preserve has on of the highest concentrations if rare and endangered species in Kentucky. You see a 60-foot waterfall, laurel thickets, and if you travel to High Rock, you'll get a fantastic view of Whitesburg and the central part of the county. Leave early for the High Rock. It is a 7-hour round trip hike.
