Begin with the trail that goes along Barrier Lake. After a couple kilometers the Trail will narrow and become steeper, leading to the first clearing. After a little bit more of a climb you will be rewarded with great views of Barrier Lake and the surrounding area – on a clear day you can see downtown Calgary off in the East!
