They have an observation tower which overlooks the city. Playground, water activities including a splash pad, fishing, and kayaking, hiking trail, concerts , etc.

A great place for kids to play and enjoy the outdoors. There is a splash pad and plenty of playgrounds.

Only about a mile away from A Simple Place, Yanney Park is the place to go for hiking, biking, a climbing tower, outdoor theater, fishing, splash grounds for the kids, and the city Senior Center. From Yanney Park you can get on the trail north to the University campus and Cottonmill Park or south to the Archway and Fort Kearney. Yanney also offers the entrance landing for a 2.3 mi water trail for kayaking and canoeing.
