GLASS BOTTOM BOAT - on Ambergris Caye. Great adventure for families with small children. Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat is a 24-foot long boat, with an interior glass bottom viewing area (20-inches by 16-foot in length). The Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat comfortably accommodates 20 passengers. The Reef Runner will take you on a sightseeing and snorkeling adventure along the Belize Barrier Reef. During this tour, you will get to see spectacular coral formations such as elkhorn coral, sheet coral, grooved brain coral, and finger corals. There are also many colorful sponges to see in vibrant purples, yellows and reds. The glass bottom boat affords (small children), the opportunity to see a variety of marine life, that they would not normally get to see. Things you can expect to see are: a variety of fish, crabs, nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles, octopus, starfish, goliath groupers, and much more. The Reef Runner Glass Bottom Boat offers two tour each day at (9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.) approximately 3 hours each. You can either go south of the island to Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley (or) to the north at Mexico Rocks. This is a great adventure for families with small children. Don’t miss this tour!
