A real must-have to visit the area. Pub is quite ‘rustic’, has decent food and a large garden with an outdoor play area.

Great food but check Facebook page for opening hours. Really homely feeling but very popular in summer. Fantastic in winter months. Accessed as part of Cinder Track

The Hayburn Wyke Inn is an 18th Century coaching inn set in woodland next to the coast between Scarborough and Whitby. Today the Inn is a popular country pub offering a warm welcome in traditional surroundings where you can relax in the bar and enjoy hand pulled Yorkshire Ales and great food. The bar has lots of character with traditional wooden floors and beams, not forgetting the roaring open fire to greet you on your arrival. A short walk through the woods behind the pub will take you to a cove where you are met with a stoney beach and a cascading waterfall. A cosy favourite and only a 5 minute drive or an approx 2 mile walk up the cinder track.
