This is a huge part of our State’s fishery, interesting, educational, and a beautiful spot, too. Also a great public access for fishing and kayaking. There are also some nice hiking trails here along the river. And keep your eyes open for eagle sightings.

Another nature spot with Explore the Shores exhibit, trails along the river and raft/canoe entry. Walk the trail along the river and see a non occupied eagle's nest on the other side just past the tree bent over the river.
