Refreshing breath of air in Jakarta Taman Menteng is a small but nice park in the craziness of downtown Jakarta - it's got lots of seating and facilities for basketball & football, and given it's location & layout would be really popular on weekends and after school hours. Given how Jakarta can be so noisy & crazy, Taman Menteng was a wonderful escape from normal Jakarta.

this park is buzzing with activity from the local residents. evenings are usually filled with groups doing exercise jogging or singing.
