Seven Tubs got its name from the glacial meltwater that created potholes and filled up pools or "tubs" of water. These water holes are great for the kids to play in. The highlight of Seven Tubs Recreation Area is Wheelbarrow Run - a stream that flows through a ravine full of tubs that are gouged into the underlying bedrock. Access the hiking trails from the lower parking lot to travel along the 1.8 mile Audubon Loop, or see the tubs along the 0.3 mile main loop.
