Mahaweli is the longest river of Sri Lanka. To get in to Kandy town by three main you must cross this river. Kalugamuwa Bridge is one of the interested place because it is a walking bridge made by steel. It is a good place to enjoy sunset. Can watch many bats flying over the river in the evening as well as early morning. A nice walk from Lanka Peter's House Tourist Guest House and Restaurant
