At the bottom of the Old Town of Bern you can see the famous bears. It is open year-round and the entrance is free.

Bear park. See real bears for free. Please note that they hibernate during some of the winter months. Considering this, it is still worth visiting this pretty part of town.

The bears of Bern have an open enclosure on the bank of the river Aare. If you’re lucky they can be awake and wandering the different enclosures.
