One of the largest urban forests in the US! Great hiking trails - great place to spent a day. No bikes allowed. You're likely to see people on horseback. Truly a treasure - not to be missed!

With miles and miles of walking and horseback trails, relax while exploring this area directly in the middle of Aiken. There are several entrances to Hitchcock Woods. The main terrain is hard-pack dirt and sand.

This is one of the largest urban woods in the U.S.A. No wheeled vehicles are allowed except horse and carriage. This is also where weekly fox hunts take place.
