Centrally located. Close to the airport, hiking in the Blue Ridge and the Smokey Mountains. Visit the Biltmore for a treat. Asheville is a half hour trip. Visit Maggie Valley for skiing in season and gambling if you like.

Waynesville is a town in and the county seat of Haywood County, North Carolina, United States. It is the largest town in Haywood County and the largest in western North Carolina west of Asheville. Waynesville is located about 30 miles southwest of Asheville between the Great Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains.

Waynesville is a nice little mountain town. You can walk downtown (Main Street), and visit one of the many shops and restaurants.
