Catharine Hill Bay - this is my favourite beach. Its a beautiful area where you can walk along the beach into the bushland and The Catho has just reopened.

Long deserted beaches within a heritage listed old coal mining community. The Catherine Hill Bay pub further up the hill is a local landmark.

Named twice in Australia's top 101 beaches, it is a stunning patrolled beach in the middle of a sleepy cutesy town. It features an iconic former coal-loading jetty, evidence of the area's mining history and a popular photography spot.
