The guys at Maxwell's are great - this place is your local organic grocery - amazing beef from Wakefield Grange, local fruit & veg. But, wait, there's more! They're also a cafe serving up organic coffee, juices, cakey things and burgers too.

After the mandatory visit and purchase at Miss Gladys on Sea, cross the road to Maxwells Grocery for a great coffee (we rate it the best in Aldinga) and an equally enjoyable veggie (or beef) burger - using locally sourced ingredients of couse. This place is a little bit hipster and a whole lot of fun - part cafe, part grocery store, you can pick up some lovely organic goodies. Plus don’t leave without trying the amazing raw snickers slice - it’s life changing. Maxwell’s Grocery is about a ten minute drive from Kestrels Nest in the recently revived hisoric Aldinga township (Temperance Precinct - enter via Old Coach Road).
