One of our favourite places to visit as this recreation reserve has three freshwater lakes. Plenty to do, swimming, boating, kayaking as well as walking or biking on tracks around the lakes. The main lake is a perfect swimming place for young children as there is a shallow stretch of warm water. Be sure to take an umbrella or a shade tent with you so you can make the most of this beautiful place.

Interesting inland fresh water lakes with white silica sandy shore. Clear cool water, perfect on a hot day. Approx 1hr 30 min drive.

28km. A series of three dune lakes created in the Pleistocene Epoch more thank 1.8 million years ago. They were formed by the accumulation of rainwater in depressions of sand. Each of the three lakes is fringed with pure white sand and are ideal for swimming. There are hiking tracks around the lakes.
