Ski resort 15 minutes away by car! Great for beginners with free slope access for the nursery slope. Ski Hire here is €20- a day

Great skiing (downhill, cross country). Take the free skibus from Bad Aussee Kurpark. Also, Eurosled rental at "the Lodge" for 5 Euros. But you have to walk up 7 km to the top (no sleds on lifts).

In sunny weather the most breath taking panorama you have ever seen on a piste - Altausseer-see is in front of your feet. In bad weather Sandling Jet is always the ultimate working chairlift.
