Actually a series of small Amish towns, they are known for handmade goods, Amana furniture, family-style restaurants and interesting shops.

A bit of a drive, but this is a historic German settlement that has lots of small shops and some restaurants to check out! It would take a solid day to check everything out without rushing through.
