There is a really nice walk along the Kennet and Avon canal to the Cross Guns Pub at Avoncliff and back along the river Avon through Barton Farm Country Park taking in gift shops and the Tythe Barn

Gorgeous country park on the edge of Bradford on Avon, with huge tithe barn, children's playground and walks along the river and canalside.

Worth a visit in its own right, and if you have children they will love the two parks. There is also a gift shop, and a small car park. You can walk along the river from St Margaret's Hall.

Just a minute walk from the property, lovely open spaces, great for dog walking, can walk to Avoncliff along the river or the canal.
