Loc Envel is a very pretty little hamlet about 4km away. It has the nearest cafe bar to Ty Triskell. There are some lovely, well marked walks. Look out for the fairytale castle emerging from the trees as you walk into the Foret Coat an Noz.

Morlaix is a very picturesque town about half an hour by car from Ty Triskell along the N12. Market day is Friday. There are some lovely self guided city walks that will tell you some of the history. There are many medieval buildings to see and visit.
There is a museum. Climbing up to the viaduct is quite an exciting experience. There are many cafes and restaurants and it is possible to find vegetarian and vegan food in Morlaix.

There is more than one chocolate shop amongst the other small commerces that are interesting to explore. There are several small parks and some very pretty walking along the river. Market is held on Friday and Saturday mornings.
