We will be exploring the world via street food in the one of the world’s most diverse areas just 15-20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. We will be eating a lot. ALL food we order on the tour is included in the price! In this neighborhood of Queens, carts and trucks come out with some of the most delicious food to be had in NYC. Many places we visit are hole in the wall, hidden gems that aren't easily noticed if you were to walk through the neighborhood on your own. These are places that we frequent and where we eat often and want to share them with you! We'll also share more information about the neighborhood, vendors and cuisines so you can learn more along with getting a great meal. Often, the vendors will change by day, so each tour may be unique. Our journey may take you from Tibet to Mexico and more in between. You will have the opportunity to learn more about New York City from a native's perspective. Itineraries can be tweaked for dietary restrictions. Come with an open mind, comfortable shoes, empty stomach and we'll take care of the rest! Other things to note: We will be walking about two miles outdoors with minimal seating or tables.

Your group (up to 10 persons) will learn the process of making maple syrup. I will guide you through a tasting of the different syrup grades and explain how to grade and bottle maple syrup. We will then try some sugar on snow which you will never forget! Maple sap runs when the days are above 38 degrees and the nights are below freezing. If the sap is not running or we don't have sap in storage, I will boil water (sap is 97% water) for the class. If the dates that we have listed don't work for your time frame, just send me an email and I can see if we can find another time for your true Vermont maple experience. We produce our syrup in an artisan way and you will be able to see this when you sample our maple products. We will have a maximum of 10 people, the sugar house is small, and we are not a giant production house that does thousand of gallons per year. Children under 5 are free. We at most make 60 gallons, most of which I bottle in my handblown glass! Other things to note: Part of the experience will be outside to see how sap flows from the tree into lines hung on maple trees. Inside the sugar house, we'll have the evaporator boiling (sap in season water when not in season). We do not have any toilet facilities- except in the wood! So please plan ahead.

As masters of the art of storytelling, we’ll guide you into one of New York's speakeasies where we'll toast to a prohibition cocktail and tell the tale of the period’s most notorious gangsters and infamous bootleggers. Also, we’ll explore the catalysts behind Prohibition and focus on the women of the Gilded Age, and the movement that gave rise to an oil king. To round off our journey together, we'll take you around the edge of Times Square and finally we’ll discuss the demise of Prohibition over cocktails at our last venue stop. Turkish coffee fortune reading is an authentic tradition dating back to Ottoman Empire in the 1600s. The leftover coffee grinds that remain in one's cup are believed to reveal their future. In this vibrant experience hosted by Dr. Honeybrew, your coffee grinds are projected onto a giant monitor allowing for all of the symbols to be witnessed and analyzed right before your eyes! You will leave knowing both your future & how Turkish coffee fortune reading is conducted. Decaf options are available for those who are caffeine sensitive. First of all! Our classes are small. We want you to really experience this privately. The class is Very hands on. In this class you will learn how to make pasta from scratch. You’ll also learn how to make pasta and a sauce from scratch. Using all natural delicious farm ingredients. You will learn to make the pasta, sauce and garlic bread in this class. All our herbs come right from our in house Hydroponics herb garden. It’s a great hands-on class that you could do with friends or a private party. I have been teaching these classes for over 13 years and it’s a lot of fun. No need to bring anything everything is covered. You’re also welcome to bring wine if you choose. If you’re vegan, a vegetarian, gluten-free, or keto please let us know in advance so we can have the ingredients for you. You will make and be taught how to do this using your hands. You will also make the sauce from scratch using fresh vegetable ingredients. Please DO NOT BE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE. A LOT TO DO WITH ALL THE GUEST, AND ALSO FOOD PREPARATION.

My delightful 90 minute walking tour takes you on a relaxed film & fiction experience of Manhattan's historic Carnegie Hill neighborhood. The 3pm-available tour meets at the world-famous Metropolitan Museum of Art . It ends at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Guggenheim Museum. Hearty tourists can visit the Met museum before my tour, and visit the Guggenheim directly after! See filming locations from: 5 to 7, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Arthur, Marathon Man, Rich and Famous, Enchanted, Oceans 8, The Fisher King, Ghost Town, Mr. Popper's Penguins, Ransom, Melinda and Melinda, and When Harry Met Sally, and many more. We'll see homes of literary icons such as: Eric Larsen, J.D. Salinger, Truman Capote, Harper Lee, and Tom Wolfe. We'll visit Central Park, and see lovely architecture in one of the country's hottest filming locations. We are making Neon signage because its FUN and green. Compared with traditional glass neon lights, neon designs made from LED are brighter, more beautiful and are not easily damaged. You don't have to worry about broken glass, no noise, safe and environmentally friendly. Reducing energy consumption is one way to go green. Another is to reduce the amount of toxic materials released into the environment. We will design our signs (Mock up), install clamps, cut desired shapes, glue, wire, and test strips. Put it all together on a piece of biodegradable wood. The wood pieces range from 10X10 - 12X12 inches or larger depending on what's available. Invite your friends, let's turn this into a party. This is a beginner’s course to neon sign making. More like a cheat version, or I should say the safer greener version, with no glass involved. This is also a more environmentally friendly approach to energy consumption and design as LED’s are a greener option for lighting. We're doing shapes, initials, or any other small design you can come up with. The purpose of this experience is for you to learn about the importance of energy conservation. Learn about the transition of Neon Signs from glass to LED, and how you can source and create your own LED signs at home. We'll walk through the most picturesque areas of Soho, stopping for portraits along the way. Not only will you get to see some of my favorite and lesser-known spots in the city, you'll also receive beautiful lifestyle photographs to remember your time in New York. Traditional art classes can be intimidating. This laid-back atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to try out their painting skills. Plus, everything is better with GOATS! A brief introduction of the residents and tour of the sanctuary is followed by setting up materials and getting creative. With an approach of “art as therapy”, we can be as instructive or inspiring as each guest needs. We provide the professional art materials, easels, smocks complimentary beverages and the super cute, affectionate goats! You can either bring your masterpiece home or donate it to the sanctuary to help them raise funds. Upon Arrival guests will be greeted by one of our co-founders at our historic event barn. Guests will receive a brief introduction to the nonprofit and the property. You will be able to enter animal enclosures and meet most of the animal residents, while learning about animal agriculture and hearing some of the heartwarming rescue stories of survival against all odds. Most of our animals love human attention! Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch (vegan) while taking in beautiful views of the property. Learn about the lives of farmed animals and our rescue and rehabilitation work. You will leave with a renewed sense of appreciation for all animals. There is parking on site when you arrive. Arrive 5- 10 minutes before the tour to fill our our waiver and use the restroom. At check out (1) ticket is applicable for a group of ten (10) or less. Take a guided horseback riding tour on our 300+ acres of private mountain trails lead by an experienced guide. After signing up and meeting the horses, we will show you the skills you need to ride through our trails. You will be accompanied by an experienced trail guide the entire time. This is a beginner friendly ride, most of the ride is walking, we go at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group. If you would like to do some more trotting, don't want to ride in a group, or are experienced, we recommend booking a private ride. The ride itself is 1 hour long and is done in a western saddle. The minimum age is 7 years to ride. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests before booking!

20+ New York Sights in one tour! Fun local guide I will guide you on an exploration of New York’s major landmarks. This will give you a good idea of the history, culture & legends of one of the world best-loved cities We start on Wall St, the oldest part of Manhattan. Where we will see iconic buildings, , Ground Zero & The NY stock exchange (Bull statue) Take pictures with the Wall Street Bull and the Fearless Girl statues We then head through the 5 Points, China Town & Little Italy districts. Lots of history in these areas. Gangsters, amazing food & iconic buildings. Chinese, Irish, and Italians immigrants arrived here & created the best areas of New York! Our next stop is at the famous Flatiron building. Great photos of this iconic building in NYC and also great views of the Empire State Building Other things to note You may not get Geoff. Have you wanted to try wheel throwing? If mud ain't flying then you ain't trying! Beginners welcome! 90 minutes of working on a pottery wheel with instruction. It’s a beautiful time to be out in nature. We are nearing the end of our season but If you don't see a time or the spots available that you need get in touch and we can try to meet at a time that is good for you! We will meet at Canalside Experiences, (706 waterloo Geneva Road) and then take a 1.5 hour paddle of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal, an extension of the Erie Canal, that connects Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Along the way we will look for local wildlife .... bald eagles are a possibility, along with hunting Osprey, Great Blue Heron, and a variety of sparrows, swallows and warblers. Beavers are resident along the canal and we will see evidence of their work. This is one of my favorite places to paddle and I look forward to showing it to you! Other things to note I have over 20 years kayaking and paddleboarding. The waters are calm with very little boat traffic. Its a great way to see the Finger Lakes! You don't need any kayak experience to join but it's preferred if guests are comfortable around the water and can swim or float comfortably in the water. -CPR/First Aid Certified

From May 1- Columbus Day weekend we offer folks a chance to get out on the water and enjoy the beauty of Twin Lakes, Salisbury, Connecticut (not MA as in the link below the title...Airbnb won't fix!) with views of the mountains on our Captained Aquarius sailboat, we take a maximum of four people and supply life jackets and comfy dry seating. Guests can bring food but no alcohol. Cruises are 2 hours and start at 11 am and run through sunset. These are private charters so you will be with your own family and friends. We are the only sailboat charter in the tri-state (CT/MA/NY) southern Berkshires and Litchfield Hills. Other things to note Children under 4 may not enjoy the experience as it is not real active ... actually very relaxing.

Come to the serene setting of Austerlitz, NY where the candle shop sits on 2 acres of woods & a creek. You’ll choose crystals from my collection of 30+ to design your own custom crystal candle made of 100% soy wax. All candles are already poured into vintage glassware with a wide variety of scents to choose from. If you'd like a separate workshop on how to make candles from scratch, please message me with that request!

Guests will be greeted at my sunny home studio by me! Everyone will get a smock and and a stool and I'll introduce you to some of my work, then get you started on your own piece. Using acrylic paints, paint medium (thickener) and palette knives, you will choose your own colors and subject as I guide you through my method of abstract palette knife painting. Whether you create a landscape, a sunset or a color field, the process is soothing, meditative and an overall fun experience. Your end result will be uniquely yours and something to remember your visit by.
