Hilmy Cellars produces some good Texas wines including tempranillo and albariño. They have a nice back patio to enjoy a tasting or a glass of wine.

A very neat winery with a different feel than a lot of the bigger places on 290. The covered porch area is a fantastic place to hang out and enjoy a glass while you talk, read, or play a board game.
