Tissington village is a short drive from the site, it's also accesed via the Tissington trail which you can walk or bike to from the site to either Tissington village, Thorpe or the 6ish miles to Ashbourne! Tissington is a perfect stop off as it's home to beautiful Tissington hall, tea rooms, sweet shop, candle workshop and craft room.
