Don't forget to take a moment to take in some history.....It's a drive to get there, or you can commute/Lyft/Uber there, but it's FREE and so very worth it!

A very sad piece of history, however, this memorial marks a past that history hopes never to repeat again. A worthwhile visit. Budget a half day and wear your most comfortable walking shoes!

“(4.5 miles) We have probably spent more hours here than any other place in DC. There is something for everyone including hands-on demonstrations, 3-D IMAX movies ( these cost), and a McDonalds that sometimes has aircraft from the museum in their Happy Meals.
