OMG...purchase a bag of peanuts (if you don't have a nut allergy) or snack food and feed the animals. Also, you don't have to pay to go into the zoo to feed the animals as they have goats and sheep close to the parking lot. They have wagons that kids can ride through the zoo...may make travel with little ones easier as there are tree roots throughout the zoo on the walking path. Favorites were the monkeys!

A small, family owned and operated zoo that runs strictly off of income. Peacocks at your heels up close & aplenty. Make sure to buy some peanuts to feed Clyde the camel or the many other animals such as goats, bears, and even a couple lions! All animals are very close to visitors and many of these are rescue animals that cannot live in the wild. Open a!most every day of the year.
