Kodiak's sushi restaurant is a can't miss dining experience. You're welcomed as if you're family and the views are phenomenal. It's our family's favorite place to eat and they have good take out. We tend to get take out and then drive over to the harbor and watch the boats go in and out of the harbor during the season. A local favorite dish is the tropical taco and the smoked black cod appetizer!

Best sushi in Alaska - overlooks the channel and it's mesmerizing to watch the fishing boats go in and out. Selection of sushi and sashimi is extensive, as well as other traditional Japanese offerings like yakisoba, udon and dumplings. Full bar and seating for large groups. Their lunch bento boxes are economical and good, for dinner I recommend showing up before 6pm, as it can be crazy-busy until 9pm on the weekends.
