This is a home style down home cooking restaurant. It has a lot of history and you'll spend a good bit of time looking at and reading all the plates that cover the walls. Definitely worth trying. Mr. Payne's personal favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak. Salad, although a Garden Salad, never fails to disappoint, always fresh and refreshing. Give this small town favorite a try, you won't be sorry.
