Great outdoor adventure. Good place to hike and take dogs for a walk. You can also picnic there.

Great hiking trails and the view from the top of Enchanted Rock is awesome. About 1 hour drive.

Enchanted Rock is a pink granite mountain located in the Llano Uplift about 17 miles north of Fredericksburg, Texas and 24 miles south of Llano, Texas, United States.

You can see the hill country for miles from the top of a huge granite rock (.5 mile hike straight to the top). Longer/easier trails surround the rock. Beautiful for sunrise and sunset.

If you are into hiking, take a day trip to enchanted rock and enjoy the most beautiful country views you can possibly see at the top of enchanted rock. Located an hour and a half away.

ENCHANTED ROCK STATE NATURAL AREA Climb the state’s most iconic piece of granite. Go early (by 9 AM) in peak seasons to avoid them closing the park due to reaching capacity!
