This is a nice state park to get out in nature. Short nature trail that is fun to walk or mountain bike. Mornings are best. Reasonable entry fee. There is a park pool that is sometimes open. Also volleyball court. Another place to go for a nature walk or bike is at the Abilene State Park Lake. They have kayaks to rent there at a self-serve kiosk.

We love going to the Abilene State Park to hike or fish. It has some lovely trails and a bird watching area.

walking & some biking trails, picnic areas, large pool open during the summer, summertime dance lessons, star parties, etc.

Abilene State Park is located 5 min down the road with great hiking and biking trails.

Great hiking trails. Lake is down, so no swimming or fishing.
